Janssen Pharmaceutica, part of Johnson & Johnson, develops and sells medicines worldwide. ETAP recently modified the lighting in the corridors of their Beerse site.
The original installation had a row of reflector luminaires along one side of the corridor. This caused uneven light distribution. Replacing the entire lighting system was not an option, as it would create a lot of dust and thoroughly disrupt work.
By replacing only the optics and lamp, we were able to keep the existing asymmetrical position of the luminaires. We installed modules with asymmetric lenses, designed to spread the light evenly throughout the corridor, including the cabinets on the other side. This approach perfected the lighting situation without major disruptions or unnecessary costs.
