As a small and agile player, we are unbeatable when it comes to tailor-made solutions. We have a dedicated and experienced team working full time on tailormade solutions. All our luminaires are designed and manufactured at our site in Malle, Belgium, with our teams closely co-operating to develop the right solution for your project.
How do we get started?
A tailor-made approach for each project
Step 1: Analysis
- After analysis, we work out a tailor-made solution. We take into account your lighting needs, aesthetic considerations, legal requirements, return on investment and practical challenges.
- Depending on the complexity of the project, more extensive services may be required, such as a site visit and preparation of a detailed study report. An adapted route is followed for these specific services.
Step 2: Lighting calculation
- Based on our customised solution, we carry out a comprehensive lighting study, just as we do for an installation with standard luminaires.
Step 3: Installation and performance evaluation
- Production only starts after approval of the design. If necessary, we create a prototype to evaluate the installation and performance of the customised solution.
Step 4: Installation
- Our designs focus on easy installation so that they can be effortlessly carried out by any installer. Of course, ETAP also offers full support in this area to completely unburden you.
Another size needed?
Can't find the appropriate solution for your ceiling in our standard range? Our custom design department adapts our luminaires to the size of the ceiling.
The dimensions of a U7 luminaire were adjusted to fit a specific (bandraster) ceiling. Instead of a single LED+LENSTM optic, two optics were placed consecutively. Additionally, the design was modified for easy installation in the ceiling.
Colors tailored to your design?
Do you want to match the color of your luminaire to your interior or housestyle? We paint our standard or custom luminaires in the color you desire.
The color of D4 downlights and K9 emergency lighting was adjusted to match the black ceiling, seamlessly integrating the luminaires into the ceiling.
Upgrade iconic designs?
Want to upgrade an unique design to the latest technology? Do you want to preserve architectural heritage while adapting to today's LED standards?
The ceiling and luminaires designed by Rem Koolhaas had to be preserved to maintain the unique ambiance of the building. The original fluorescent lamps were replaced with custom-made LED modules, keeping the luminaires and ceilings intact.
